About the Spring 2026 Fine Arts Fair

The Fine Arts Fair is a juried event held at the Historic Newark Arcade. The fair will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11am-4pm, providing an opportunity for selected artists to show and sell their fine art works. We have participants whose works include paintings, photography, ceramics & pottery, glass art, wood art, and other creations.

Christopher Stokes Moseley and Kevin Connell are the proud owners of BALL HILL The Arcade (Antiquities & Fine Art), at the Historic Newark Arcade. They are sponsoring this event with their Arcade colleagues, Jill Crowe of the Licking County Arts Association and Jill Sheridan of the Blank Canvas Craft Studio & Vintage Grind Coffeehouse.

Kevin Connell is currently the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. He was the Director of NGSO’s Ellis Island: the Dream of America (Fall 2022). He is a former Professor of Theatre Arts at Marymount Manhattan College (New York City) and was the former Managing Artistic Director of Weathervane Playhouse (Newark, OH), where he worked from 2014-2019. Kevin was the Period Style and Etiquette Coordinator for the 2012-2013 Broadway production of The Heiress. As an actor, Kevin performed in productions at The National Theatre (London), The Edinburgh International Fringe Festival (Scottland), La Jolla Playhouse (San Diego, CA), Steppenwolf Theatre Company (Chicago, IL), TheatreWorks USA (NYC/Tour), The Wayside Theatre (Winchester, VA), TheatreFest, NJ (Montclair, NJ) and Pinewood Film Studios (London), among other credits. He attended The Ohio State University (BFA) and the University of California, San Diego (MFA). He is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

Christopher Stokes Moseley is a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker in the states of New York and Florida, with Christie’s International Real Estate (Subsidiary of Christies Auction House, NYC) and their affiliate Fortune International Real Estate (Florida). He has been recognized as a top broker for multiple years. Christopher has worked extensively in residential sales and rentals with well over 20 years of experience in the industry. Spanning across three decades Christopher has closed countless notable transactions and has built an expansive list of residential and commercial repeat clients as well as small business owner connections. Christopher also has extensive experience working with a comprehensive group of transaction specialists, such as loan officers, real estate lawyers, along with interior designers, furniture makers/designers, landscape architects and contractors.

About the Historic Newark Arcade

Originally built in 1909, then rededicated in 2024, the Newark Arcade is now once again a cornerstone of downtown, connecting generations through its unique architecture and historic charm.
